Brief Description:  Built the hinges for the rudder control surface.

Today was really the first day of construction. Went through the first section with only a minor issue . My first rivet squeeze did not go well but all the following did. I had to drill out my first rivet and redo, worked out well - see picture #3. Deburring and filing edges down to make sure that there is no possibility of cracks in the structure comes home with the Southwest Airlines section blow-out recently.

This is way more fun than I anticipated it would be, I had some apprehension starting, worring about doing everything right. Once I got into it, things seemed so basic that I really enjoyed the work and accomplishment.

The next section is the spar for the rudder and it looks very interesting. It will start looking like an airplane in a couple of sections.
