I'm using the Tony Bingelis method to make the hinge fittings. Cut the 0.090 4130 in 3/4" wide by 2-3/4" long pieces. I marked the first bend location and hammered it over the aluminum forming die (picture). I made a wedge from hickory to for the second angle (future picture). I'll later trim to size and drill the mounting and hinge holes.
