Welcome to my Web site. I am building the Pober Junior Ace. The above picture is Tim Gallagher's award-winning example. Tim's is powered by a 110HP Rotec radial, which I would like to do, also, but I will probably use an O-200.

The Pober Junior Ace is a two seat (side-by-side) open cockpit parasol monoplane. It was originally offered as a kit by the Ace Aircraft Manufacturing Company in Wichita, KS in the 1930's. Corben moved to Madison, WI where Paul Poberezny bought the design, modernized it and offered it as a plans built airplane in 1953 (I believe).

I like the Junior Ace for it's simplicity, ease of construction and nostalgia. I'm having a blast building it and expect to have even more fun flying it.
