I finished pilot drilling and cleco'ing the rest of the parts to the right wing spar today. Parts I added were upper stiffener angle (SNX-W11-08), vertical stiffener angle (SNX-W11-09), root wing attach assembly (SNX-W11-06), root rib attach angles (SNX-W20-02/03), outboard vertical stiffener angle (SNX-W11-11), and the right-hand tie down fitting (SNX-11-10R). Next, I need to study the plans carefully to figure out what rivets go where. Then I'll start practicing on some scrap aluminum to get the countersinking, dimpling, and riveting all correct. What fun!

I used a light from below to make sure the holes were properly lined-up.
|

Wing spar pilot drilling all complete. Now I need to up-drill, countersink, dimple, and rivet.
