Today I worked on the rear spar assemblies for the wings. I first had to Scotch brite the left and right rear spar channels. They had gotten dull and a bit corroded due to sitting for the past four years.
I cleco'd and updrilled the parts that attach to the right rear spar assembly. I need to still deburr the parts and rivet them to the spar channel.
Rear spar channels nice and shiny again.
Spar doubler needs 1/8" radius on inside egde. I did this by hand on my belt sander.
Attach plate and root rib attach angle cleco'd to rear spar channel.
