I have pre assembled the horizontal. Upon inspection of the front spars, there was some damage to the rivet holes from over dimpling. The holes were larger an had small cracks on the outside lip of the dimple. I have ordered replacements. While visiting Vans aircraft website, I discovered a service mandate has been issued suggesting the possibility of cracks forming on the horizontal an vertical stabilizer. Ive ordered, along with the front spars, the kit to incorporate in the build.
