Brief Description:  Assembly of the forward baggage door

I had ordered the main starter switch along with locks and keys for the baggage door from Air craft Spruce. When I was test fitting the parts for the baggage door, I also made the lock rods and the assembly hardware for the lock at the same time. Now the lock has come in, an I had already primed and painted the baggage door parts, It was time to assemble. I clecoed all parts together and made the lock pins from an470 rivets. I drilled a wire size hole in the end of the rivets to accept the .032 wire for safety wiring the control rods onto the lock pivot arm. The plans instruct to assemble the baggage door complete with inside skin, then assemble the lock. Didn't make much since to close off the lock area then assemble the lock. So, I assembled the lock before installing the inside skin. Next is to install the forward skin on the fuselage and temporarily install the baggage door, so as to pop rivet the inside skin on from inside the fuselage.
