Brief Description:  Brake lines to landing gear fabrication

I gott the Grove landing gear out and temporarily installed. First, I installed a 90 degree AN fitting on the gun drilled upper port for the Fuel line attachment. As per the first picture, the fittings face the same direction and are approx 1.25" apart. Bending this tight of a loop was accomplished by first, cutting the tubing approx 7" long. I then flared one end and slipped the ferrel and nut on the tubing. I then filled the tube with almost salt like extra fine sand. Marked the appropriate location for the bend. Bent the tubing by hand with my thumb as the radius maker. the tubing was not kinked at any place. I then removed the sand and marked the location for the other flare. I was able to open the bend just enough to allow insertion into the flaring tool. I was sure to install the nut then ferrel before the flare. Flared the last end, removed and slowly closed the bend. Installing the tubing created a problem as not having enough room to use any tool in my box to tighten the nut. Picture 2 shows a modified boxed end wrench to do the job. Tightening the fitting was no poblem with the modified tool. I then just coppied the bend for the left side. Brake lines to gear legs finished
