Brief Description:  temporarily installed rear bulkheads and turtle de

I installed the rear seat back upper bulkhead to find that the fuselage is about 3/16 to narrow and causes the bulkhead to twist way out of shape. I called Vans to inquire about the situation. I explained the twist and asked if all would be ok to spread the fuselage at that location with a pice of 1x2 as to releave the twist in the rear seat back bulkhead. or if the bulkhead it self need to be replaced. I was concerned that spreading may cause problems with the canopy install later on. Vans rep assured me that spreading the fuselage would be ok, and that the bulkhead supplied had been in production for 10 plus years. Furthermore, I decided to carry it a little further for piece of mind. After installing a 1 x 2 3/16" wider at the location mentioned, I installed the remaining bulkheads along with the turtle deck skin to be sure there were no problems. After clecoing in serveral places, the ksin an bulkheads all lined up just fine. Well, now I know for sure. Also, after installing the top skin and clecoing the rear seat back bulkhead every other hole, I removed the spreader board and all stayed true.
