Brief Description:  Leveled Fuselage, Prep for gear attachment

Installed both Left and Right Gear legs, with inboard and outboard wear plates. Used 1 bolt to mouunt gear for adjustments. Leveled both for and aft Fuselage. I installed with c clamps the 4' aluminum angle to the axle locations on the gear legs at center points on angles. I installed on the aft deck of the fuselage a plumb bob. Dropped a plumb bob on the center of the front of the fuselage to the floor. Pulled a string under the Fuselage to both locations and anchored with buckets of water. Center of Fuselage is clearly marked at this time. I proceded to install a plumb bob at the 4 corners of the attached angles and dropped to within 1/4" of the floor. With 2 aluminum yard sticks, I could measure the distance from the center line to each plumb bob. After determining the distance from the center string, it was determined on the left I could get equal distance of 33 3/8" from both front and rear plumb bobs. On the right side the equal distance was 33 5/16". I checked these measurements and all plumb bob locations several times with the same results. Had my son help tighten the main inboard center bolts to help hold the gear in place for drilling. Enough for today. I will take a break, and recheck before I drill.
