Brief Description: Installed the motor to the fuselage
This afternoon I installed the ignition module bracket and attached the ignition modules per the manual.
I had three assistants come over to help with the motor installation. John, Keith and Keenan are all mechanics and made this job easy. We had a large "cherry-picker" engine hoist as well. Everything went as indicated in the manual with one excepting. The manual indicates that the bottom motor mount bolts should go into the mounts from the firewall forward (bolt head towards the motor mount, threads toward the prop). The bolt cannot go into the mount bushing from the rear. The motor mount tubes/geometry prevent the bolt from going in from the firewall side. Obviously the alternative is to install the bolt from the motor (front) side, which we did.
