The Viking Engine differs from the Rotax in that the Throttle Cable works in reverse. Pull the cable and the engine goes to idle. The SeaRey Throttle is made for the Rotax and pushing the throttle forward to pull the cable would bring a Viking to idle but a Rotax to full throttle. The way to fix that is to move the cable connection from the top of the pivot point to below the pivot point by making an extension bar or rod and attaching it to the throttle so it goes below the pivot under the console. Connecting the cable underneath would push on the cable instead of pulling it.
I made this earlier in the build and now that I got the cable, its time to connect it. I removed the bar and installed the cable attachment and re installed the bar.
