Brief Description:  EGT probe and fuel flow problem

Check to see how I can remove the #1 cylinder exhaust stack for sealing and re-drilling the pipe for the EGT probe at a better location (2"). This will give a more even EGT reading across the 4 cylinders. Looked at the EGT probe configurations on a friends airplane (RV7-A). He used only one EGT probe (on the #3 cylinder). He felt with a normally aspirated engine he does not need 4 EGT probes, which is quite true. On the other hand I have the Grand Rapids EIS with four probes, so might as well use them and in the proper locations.

Add more aluminum foil on the bottom of the cowling to get better heat protection.

Found the problem with the fuel flow. Fuel flow input to the EIS pin #14 was not connected. The output from the fuel flow meter (white wire) was connected to pin #8. Re-wired the connections, but left them temporary. Tomorrow will check continuity.
