Brief Description:  Run engine for the second time

I worked with the Grand Rapids EIS and EFIS to get ready for the second engine run. After installing the cowl I decided to ask one of my friends at the airport to help me run the engine the second time with the cowling on. I needed someone to help with taking the airplane out of the hangar and pushing it back once finished and to monitor engine parameters. We ran the engine about 4 minutes. Problem areas found: a. fuel flow is not working; b. #1 cylinder EGT reading is way too low. Obvious culprit is the EGT probe placed 3 inches from the cylinder while the rest of the probes are 2 inches away. The reason for picking this spot was the interference of the probe with the removal of the spark plug and the bend in the exhaust pipe at best location. Will have to reconfigure this choice. Looked at a friends RV7 for this configuration of the EGT probe, moved to this location.
