Position the CT A-740 Black Control Cable and the adel clamp so that the VA-192B Filter Bypass Door operates freely. Make sure the nutplate for the adel clamp is outside the perimeter of the filter. Matc drill #12 the hole in the Air Box for the adel clamp. Drill the #40 attach holes for the nutplate and machine countersink the holes on the outside of the Air Box. I wasn't comfortable riveting the nutplate directly on the fiberglass Air Box so I made a backup plate for the outside of the Air Box. Dimpled the #40 holes. Attach the nutplate to the Air Box using rivets. Had to set the rivets with hammer. Drill 2 1/4" hole on the bottom filter plate centering the hole on the Air Box hole.
