Cut the hole for the remote control panel indicator in the 0.071 mounting plate. This was a real slow process. First I laid out the shape of the hole, drilled four 1/4 inch holes at each corner inside the square, made a rough cut using a metal blade coping saw, and finally used a flat file to form the mounting hole. This was a try, fit and repeat process, very time consuming and requiring great patience. I also punched the mounting holes using the panel indicator as a guide. I am somewhat nervous about the alignment of the holes. Will see tomorrow.
