To check the accuracy of the 35 degree rudder deflection I marked the fulcrum point of the rudder on the hangar floor using a plumb bob. Next I marked the neutral and left/right deflection of the rudder at the stop position on the floor. This gave me an accurate picture of the rudder deflection on the hangar floor. Next I took the protractor shown on image 1 and measured the deflection angle. The left came out to 35.5 degrees and the right 35.0 degrees. Drilled the rivet holes to #30.
