Brief Description: Drill swivel bolt for cotter pin
I tried to drill the bottom tail swivel bolt for a cotter pin.
First, I need to remove the tail wheel so I would have access to the bolt inside the keel.
Using the air drill, I drilled on hole half way through but it was at a slight angle.
Then I turned the bolt 180 degrees to drill again for the opposite side. To turn the bolt, I grinded down a wrench to be thin enough to slip between the keel and the pivot point.
Of course, I broke two 5/16" drills and one was stuck in the bolt!
