Dan G worked on laying out the instrument panel using Visio. He was able to lay out the SkyDat GX2, the rotor tact, the Garmin 320A transponder, the Flight Level FL-260 transceiver, the master switch and ignition switch.
I worked on the pre-rotator. While drilling the cotter pin hole on the shaft for the pressure plate, I broke a drill bit and stayed stuck in the hole. After 1+ hours trying to push it out, or drill through it, I added washers and moved the hole up and 90 degree off from the original hole.
Lauren and Isaac Frame completed the nut plates riveted to the 1.5" squares for the instrument panel and assisted me in beginning the install the mount of the pre-rotator.
During the installation of the pre-rotator, we discovered it interfers with the PVC port into the block. The mounting bolts hit the 1/2" hose that is converted to a 5/8" and attached to the pipe out of th e block.
