While planning to finalize my right aileron with balance arm installation I noted there was no length dimension specified on dwg 6W12. I emailed Caleb about this who replied that that dimension was omitted on the original drawing so he emailed me back a PDF of the updated drawing dated Jan 25, 2012 showing the length as 460 mm.
I also requested a couple of quotes for 6' long pieces of the 3/4 x 3/4 x .065 square tubing and received some outrageous pricing - one quote was $135. So, I opted to order the precut arms and fasteners from Zenith for a wopping $17.58 + freight. I have found that Zenith's pricing is very tough to beat on materials. I did find fasteners that were about 1/3 the price but considering they are relatively inexpensive I would have offset any small savings in the shipping. Besides, I want to support Zenith as much a possible.
Unrolled another sheet of 0.016" 6061-T6 to layout and cut out the left hand aileron skin.
