Michigan winter started early and cold this year. Doing any work in the garage requires - at a minimum - dressing warm. To take a little of the bite out of the air I purchased a 30,000 BTU RedStone LP Infra-red heater from Tractor Supply Co. Fired it up and proceded to do some work on the aileron trim tab, along with a little maintenence work on my daughters car. The ambient temp didn't seem to change much but the comfort level sure went up. The manual says it will run on HIGH setting for up to 14 hours on a full 20 lb LP tank. This fuel consumption rate combined with a purchase price of $80 make this an excellent value for my needs. The portability is also nice.
