Visited my friendly local Aluminum distributor (Trident, now part of Metals USA) to purchase some 0.090" 6061-T6 for fabrication of the 6T3-4 and 6T3-5 elevator horns. Was only looking for a 12" X 18" piece but they had a pieces slated for scrap that measured 11" by 48" which they generously donated to my project. Compared to the factory costs on all parts made from 0.090 this piece of material will save me $87.20.
