As an encore to his April 27 "donation" my friend Tim sent me an STM digital caliper which I'm sure will come in very handy over the days, weeks, months, years . . . decades to follow. Thanks again Tim for the thoughtfulness represented by the Clippy Grabbers :-)
To ensure the nose skin trim line is co-planar with the top of the rudder skin I cut out this little jig from a piece of 1/4" particle board by hole-sawing a 1.5" hole then cutting tangents at the same angle as the rear skin at the tip rib. I know this is overkill but I need to stay in the habit of paying attention to as many details as possible to prevent mistakes.
