Match drilled handle plates per plans. Disassembled and deburred. Drilled door handle lever #20 and rounded end to fit in the C-1007 piccilo tube. Deburred same. Used #8 nutplate jig to drill door handles, started countersinking handle for nutplate rivets. Centered spur gear and holder in door pocket and drilled 1/2" and then drilled attach holes #12.
Differnces for Planearound installation:
Cut gear rack in half.
Trimmed aft door rod by 5 and 5/8". Dirlled new end of short section with 3/16" hole and new end of long section with 1/8" hole. Cut new ends to resemble trimmed ends of orignal piece for gear rack attachment.
