Brief Description:  Foreward skin fitting and attachment

I attached the foreward rib, and prepped the counterbalance weight that attaches to it today. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take a picture while fitting and drilling the holes for the foreward skins. This is probably due to the fact that they were the hardest part of the rudder to work on!! The top foreward skin was the worst. It had a funky angle and extreme bend. It also needs to sit flush right up against the top rib, and lower foreward rib. Working alone, this was a bit difficult. I tucked the foreward skin under the rear skins to help hold it in place.

** Note ** Nowhere in the instructions does it say that the foreward skins are actually installed, and final riveted, OVER the rear skins, but that's the way I ended up doing it. It just made the most sense aerodynamically.

Anyway, after the tucking was complete, I skillfully used lots of masking tape to hold things in place. The foreward skins want to spring out on you, and move away from the ribs. I'd get some help next time, but it worked out ok this time. I just made things a lot harder on myself. The rest was standard measuring, clecoeing and drilling.

I also primed the entire inside of the foreward skins with a light coat.
