Took entire assembly apart, de-burred holes, then used aviation primer (green) to protect all parts. We'll be living right near the ocean soon, so I'll be applying a light primer coat to all the inside parts. Once dry, I re-attached the parts with clecos then riveted them. The blind rivets sure made construction fast and easy. In the second photo, the upper hinge brackets can be seen along with their close proximity to the rib behind them. Note that there are doubler rivets squeezed in between all these parts.
