Brief Description:  Finished Fuselage Patches.

I encountered a few anxious moments this day while gluing the baggage window patch in place. I tried to glue the whole thing at once. After the two coats of thick glue had dried, I spread thin glue over the entire area and started laying the patch in place. I tried to line up the bottom edge to get a nice straight line, and found that was sticking in areas I didn't want, and to get the line straight I was pulling on the fabric causing in to stretch, and when it didn't lay straight I pulled it up from the glue, which stretched it even more. After about 30 seconds of fighting it I was convinced I had a bad thing going so I removed the patch before the glue was dry.

After cutting a new patch, I only spread thin glue on a 1/2" wide line along the bottom of the patch area and set the patch in place taking care to get a nice straight line. Once this was dry I wet down the remaining area and placed the rest of the patch - Easy Peasy!
