* After scotch brighting the glue areas, cleaning with acetone, taping and pre-gluing, I laid the covering in place and glued a band about 2" wide around the perimeter of the wing. Then I turned it over to trim and glue around the spars and wing tip bow. Next I shrunk the fabric at low temperature, and applied thinned glue through the fabric.
* A was able to get most of the covering pretty smooth during the gluing, and a little work with the iron took care of the remaining bumps and bubbles.
* I taped a piece of sandpaper to the leading edge to form the cover for the bolts, but I found that I could not get a grip to move it back and forth. I ended up putting a couple pieces of cheap double stick tape on the cover and then sticking it to my fingers - worked like a charm! I just used some U500 glue to attach the cover in place.
