Brief Description:  Cowl Mount and Instrument Panel Visor.

Installed the cowl mounting strips to the firewall and the instrument panel visor.

Comments:

* I removed the spacer strips when drilling the cowl mounting strips. This eliminated the need to keep the spacers lined up when drilling the holes.

* I installed the upper cowl strip, and I overlapped the side strips underneath the top strip by about 3/8". I think this looks better than trying to match the strips end to end.

* I used my safety wire canister (about 2-1/2" diameter) to form the curved sections of the cowl mount strips. A band saw and dremel made short work of the relief cutouts for the cowl.

* I formed the curved sections of the panel visor over the top of my grinder motor. I cut some from the ends of the visor so it would not rub on the door frame. The third image below shows the trimmed visor from the inside. The blue is masking tape applied to the fuselage frame. The black marks show where the visor was hitting the frame tube before it was trimmed.
