Brief Description: Trimmed and fitted cowling to aircraft
Installed hinge halves on cowling and aircraft to mount the cowling. The top cowling can be removed by pulling out the hinge pins on the two sides. The bottom cowling can be removed by pulling out the hinge pins at the aft side of the bottom cowling. The bottom air scoop was trimmed to channel air into the belly mounted radiator. A hole was cut in the top cowling to accommodate the fuel pump on the top of the engine. A "hump" patch will be put over this hole later. It took a couple of tries before we were able to get the cowling centered behind the prop.
