Cherry max rivets arrived yesterday so I buttoned up the upper fuse skin on the rivet holes I couldnt buck easily or where there were avionics in the way.
worked on fitting the windscreen
cut and installed a suede leather glare shield for under the windscreen. Most guys paint this, but I had suede on my RV9 and really liked it. Adds a little weight, but no glare whatsoever, doesnt show dirt, and prevents stuff you toss up there from sliding around. Glued it with 3M 77, and trimmed the edge with some rubber trim strip left over from my hangar door.
