Brief Description:  Rudder

A new day dawned.

I called Rick Galati a local EAA tech counselor who had built an RV-6A and an RV-8 who came over and helped me straighten out my wounded rivet and gave me some pointers on using the rivet squeezer. Rick did an official first Tech Counselor's visit, took some photos, and gernerally made me feel better about the project again.

Armed with renewed enthusiasm, I finished riveting the rudder skeleton and went on later in the day to riveting the main skin on the rudder.

The rudder is now complete execpt for the fiberglass cap that will be installed later.

I started gathering parts, and reading ahead, for the AST (Anti Servo Tab) construction which is on the agenda for the next build session either tomorrow or Friday.
