Spent most of the day prepping the rudder skeleton parts. Drilled, deburred and primed the parts. After dinner when the paint had dried, I set out to rivet the rudder skeleton.
One rivet after another was poorly squeezed and I had to drill them out and redo three of them.
Further problems occured when I tried to rivet on the hinge brackets and the squeezer slipped and I cut the rivet head in half. Very little left to drill out.
I went to bed early and decided that I would face the problem with a fresh outlook tomorrow.
