Brief Description:  Complete Vertical Stabilizer.

I clecoed the VS skin to the front spar, tip rib, mid rib, root rib and lower nose rib assembly. I then used the rivet gun to rivet the skin to the front spar and ribs. Eileen bucked the rivets. We started on the front spar at the mid rib and worked our way to the tip, then from the sam intersection we worked down to the root rib and trailing edged alternating.

I then used the pnuematic rivet squeezer to flush rivet the skin to the tip, root and lower nose ribs, leaving the fairing attach points open.

Next I clecoed the rear spar assembly to the rest of the VS assembly. I then used the pnuematic rivet squeezer to rivet the rear spar assemby to the tip and root ribs and pop rivets to attach the mid rib to the rear spar assembly.

I then used the pnuematic squeezer to flush rivet all skin to rear spar rivets, completing the vertical stabilizer minus the fiberglass work.

All rivets used are those recommended in the plans published by Van's.
