It turned out to be a gloomy rainy day....a great day to work in the shop. I haven't been able to do much over the past month due to work duties....but I have ramped back up a bit.
Rob texted me and offered to come over today. We had discussed getting the empennage on when we next got together and today was the day. I helped Rob with the process and when he didn't need me I worked the forward baggage door. He started with getting the tailwheel assembly back on as I had it all painted and ready to be re-installed.
Rob got the empennage parts installed on the empennage and then worked the verticle stab fairing, the two rudder fairings, and the empennage intersection fairings.
It was a lot of work accomplished and plenty more to do with getting fiberglass done etc etc.
Thanks again to Rob for his help in getting things a little bit further down the road!!!
