I got the fittings in I needed for completing the final fuel line. I ended up ordering them from Vans because they had what I needed and the price was a bit better. Since I had to pay shipping, I decided to also get other hardware items that I felt were good to have. I got a number of rivets in small quantities of AN426 & AN470 of various lengths in both the -3 and -4 size. These can really come in handy and Vans sells them in VERY SMALL quantities beginning at .01 pounds and up. Spruce does not....so I got a great assortment for use if needed for a few cents per item.
I also got more snap bushings, AN hose clamps, and extra fittings ans washers.
There is a learning curve to this line bending stuff and I made my share of scrap. I was able to get some fuel line from my friend Rob in order to finish up the lines. I have a compression line flaring tool that a guy from work gave me to keep. It is an aircraft quality tool worth over $100...thanks Ramon!
Short work session tonight due to other commitment but I checked the elbow for the firewall fitting and it fit great!
