I did some more fitting of the tube and rear angle supports. Next I marked the location of where I wanted to drill the bolts through the firewall and angle in order to attach the forward end of the tubing mount block.
After drilling the holes in the firewall, I set the tubing in the exact location that I wanted them and used a 3/16 transfer punch to mark the hole location in the fwd mounting block. Next I went into the shop and drilled the holes for heli-coils in order to insert the steel coils and give strength to the tapped holes for torquing the attach bolts.
Everything came out perfect and when I bolted it in place it was exactly as I intended it to be. Now to complete fitting and securing the rear attaching angle.
