Brief Description: Lower Landing Gear and Windscreen Fairing
My first task tonight was to get a little more masking done on the fuselage to in order to prime the windscreen fairing. This is where the packing paper I saved from my Van's crates comes in handy. After getting it masked I shot some primer on the fairing and let it dry.
I moved on to the landing gear. I received my fittings in the mail today for the brake line connections and installed the fittings and fastened the hoses on both wheels.
I hadn't put the nutplates on the wheel pant brackets so I installed all the nutplates on both sides of the landing gear.
I finished off the night by sanding the windscreen fairing....may need a little more before locating all the pinholes and flaws and adding filler.
