Brief Description:  Electrical and Fiberglass

Ok....so to start off with I basically was sanding most of this session gettig the lower cowl up to snuff.

I only worked on the regulators for about 45 minutes. The wires I had connected to terminal #4 had been run twice.....the ones I have connected to the terminal currently needed to be run to the alternators. While those were sitting coiled in the electrical bay( they still had to be put through the F/W pass thru) two more wires were attached to the alternators themselves and routed through the F/W pass thru awaiting to be connected to terminal #4. This was done a long time ago but never rectified. So today we were reminded after a brief discussion of what happened and elected to use the 18AWG wires that were already routed to the alternators as opposed to the 20 AWG wires connected to terminal #4 and going to nowhere. So I removed the regulator tray to do the exchange.

Meanwhile Ralph had called and said he would love to come over and give me a hand today for a while (he has more free time having completed work on "Purple Problem" for a number of months!). So Ralph worked inside while I worked outside until the encroaching darkness forced me to close up the sanding shop.

Ralph busied himself in the cockpit getting wires neatened up whiich he is an expert at doing!! He also did some wire neatening in the engine area. Again another multiplication of effort. Thanks a million Ralph!
