I worked a little more deciding where I wanted the front USB charging ports to be located. I considered the fact that when being used they will be "sticking out" so I didn't want them to be in a place where the legs or arms would be bumping them in the process of aviating yet be conveniently accessible while in flight.
After deciding the location I looked at the dimensions of the cutout specified on the data sheet for the chargers that I got off Steins site where I bought them. I cut the opening right to specs but it would not fit all the way in. It was way to tight. The opening called for a 1.41 X .830. I began to measure and found that the opening was ok on the narrow side but needed to be at least 1.450 on the long side. So I cut some more and got the USB charger to fit. I made it a snug fit to make certain it would hold well over the process of time.....but I can get it out also.
I put the panel in place....looks like it will work well.
