I was able to have a decent work session last night. I completed wiring the subpanel to the point of the wires going to the battery, alternators, and shunting to the displays.
I just went ahead and bought the "hammer crimper" for crimping these large wires.....it really works pretty darn good.
Next I got a piece of paper and started doing more cyphering on the CB/fuse situation. I will probably use mostly fuses for avionics and items I want to be "able to disable" by pulling the breaker....it just adds a level of safety. Other non-critical items will go to the fuse block.
I have a spreadsheet provided by my buddy Jim that I have filled out and I am just putting it all together on a paper sheet to seperate in my head the CB vss fuse use.....it is just easier for me to use a pencil and visualize the plan.
Sent a pic of the subpanel to Rick, Rob, and Jim to critique the wiring for any stupid things I may have done in the wiring. Both Rick and Rob have great experience in the wiring and all other areas of E/AB....so they are great resources and lifelines for me!!!!
