There were more wires tied up and tied off. The SCAT hoses were installed for the oil cooler and the heater muff. I am hoping that the upgraded muff will produce plenty of heat for the cockpit for the back seater as well as the front seater. From my experience and other postings the issue for the RV-8 is getting a good flow of heat to the GIB (Guy in Back or Girl in Back)....we will see!
I bought several heat sheilds in addition to the couple I received with Vans finish kit. It looks like the critical areas are covered well.
Worked more on the cowls drilling and prepping the nutplates for the cowl pin covers to be installed.
Another good day of help and synergistic progress thanks to Rob coming over! The weather has been bad for Robs flying plans.....but great weather for my build plans ;-)
