Brief Description:  Install Standby Alternator

I removed the starter last session because it was just sitting on the pad and I had to put the gaskets and sealant on and get it final installed and torqued.

Got the gaskets and the EZ Turn lubricant / sealant to coat the gasket surfaces. After getting everything coated, I got the alternator on the pad and got three of the four nuts on and snugged. The bear on this project is getting the lower left pad nut (rear looking forward) and washers on and tightened!!!

Going through the gymnastics of using tweezers, screwdrivers, double sided sticky tape, ignition wrenches and every other trick in the book I finally got the nut on and tightened! The one nut took the lions share of the time in this session.....this is not the first time something small takes and inordinate time in a work session.....

Anyway....will torque the bolts and attach the wires next session.......but I am going to try and come up with a speciality tool to get this nut on and off when the alternator needs servicing......
