Brief Description:  Oil Cooler Cable Routing #2

I got the Bowden clamp installed on the cable. One thing about this cable business.....you have to make sure you put all the nuts, lock washers, snap bushings, and anything else that slips or slides on the cable or else you will get it all routed and find out you forgot to slip something on and have to remove the cable from the routing again!!

I got the bowden clamp tightened and the adel clamp on the cable completed. I then decided on the attaching a bracket plate to the plenum to secure the cable. There were a couple options but I chose to do the one in photo 2. Cut the cable, attach the bracket, insert the cable and it should be another step done.

On a little comical note.....I was putting the adel clamp on the cable and as everyone knows the adel clamp can be frustrating to get screws and nuts bolted on sometimes. Well I grabbed a #8 screw out of a bin and a washer and nylock nut and tried getting the screw on for several minutes. After getting frustrated I pulled the screw out from the hole.....I couldn't believe it....the screw I grabbed out of a bin of over 200 screws HAD NO THREADS ON IT!!! Duhhhhhh.....don't know how I could have not caught that! I went back to the bin and got a new pair of threads!
