I continued with the rheostat brackets. I marked and drilled the nutplate holes for the rear mount bracket and the prepped and riveted the nutplates on the rear bracket. I then marked the rivet pattern for the holes that I would use to attach the angle to the TCW Battery bracket. I drilled and riveted the two brackets together for the rear mount.
I then temporarily placed the rear mount back in the airplane to make sure the single mount for the front of the rheostat would be located where it would be centered on the slot for the front of the rheostat mount. I had it attached to the rheostat module so I could locate it right where it needed to be laterally and could mark and cut the vertical length of the bracket to fit for riveting to the airframe. I had already attached the single nutplate to the bracket and attached the bracket to the rheostat module so it all held where it needed to be.
After getting the location locked in and marking the bracket cut line and location on the airframe, I cut the bracket to length. Then I drilled rivet holes on the airframe structure where the bracket would be riveted. I then match drilled the bracket using the airframe holes and clecoed.
