Brief Description:  Canopy Fiberglass Work

Rick got in Thursday afternoon. We got back to the house and after he was settled in we looked at the project. His main objective is to assist with completing all the canopy fiberglass work (actually I am the one assisting....he is the main act!). Anyway while looking at the project it was determined that we needed to tighten up the skirt around the fuse sides so that was the first item we tackled.

We removed the canopy and sanded the paint off the canopy inside bottom with 80 grit sandpaper to get it prepped. We measured and cut fiberglass strips and set them on the canopy at different thicknesses to take up the gaps. Then we applied micro to fill any remaining gaps, installed the canopy and closed it to allow it to cure.

Then it was wait for the curing process.
