Brief Description:  Taping Windscreen for Sika

I got a good session in tonight working briefly on the snorkel and then getting back to the windscreen prep for sika.

I shot a coat of primer on the snorkel to start seeing what pinholes come popping out or what flaws reveal themselves. It wasn't as bad as I imagined it might be....but there are a few spots to work.

I then went back out to the shop and worked both the windscreen and fuselage to prepare for bonding the windscreen into the airframe. It is absoluting amazing how much labor and time it takes to get the prep work and taping done!!!

I did a stick and clamp setup that would hold the windscreen at the right dimension while taping it because the tape gets hosed up between the proper dimension and allowing the windscreen to relax and spread open......it causes it to unstick and puts stress on the tape. So the stick really helped.

Just a little more prep work and I will be able to complete the bonding!
