Another life event in the build process came in the way of Kathryns aunt Tonie passing away in Venice Florida. Aunt Tonie was Kathy's last surviving member of her mothers side of the family who outlived Kathys mother Joann and her uncle Bobby.
Aunt Tonie lived a full life.....a full 94 years old!!! She was married for a few years but had no children......we were her only relatives. For the past few years here health has been deteriorating and we found ourselves getting more involved with her care and spending more trips to Florida to deal with matters from her health issues and house maintenance to her dimensia. She finally had to be placed in an assisted living facility in October 2022 due to her needs.
She loved our visits. She finally met a man Kris who lived in Ft Meyers by using her Ipad and going on a dating website "Plenty of Fish". During the last five or so years they were great company to each other and visited each other. Kris is three years older than her and was great on computers. He made and gave her a clock that that had her picture on it officially dubed the "Aunt Tonie Clock"
She passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 31st which was her continual request to God during her prayers. We will miss our visits with her.
