Brief Description:  Sand and Prime Fiberglass Parts

It was a beautiful day and I got back to sanding on the SuperFil and Fillable-Sandable primer that I had been working on for the past few sessions. I really wanted to get these things Eko-primed today but just decided to work steady and see how it went.

By mid-afternoon it looked like I would be able to prime things before the shadows grew long and the tentacles of darkness got their grip on the land. I got things set up and mixed Stewarts Eko-prime and got my plan of action together.

I mixed and sprayed and got all the parts completed. As it gets late these little black flies come out and some inflicted the paint....especially on the wingtips.....will see how I get them off....they are really small but get blown by the paint sprayer or land on the part.....it only happened right at the last of it.

It ended getting up to about 85 degrees. A lot of work and sweat!!!

So everything is inside the shop curing.....will check it out tomorrow. Glad to have this over. Will have to see if there are any flaws.....those will be taken care of by the paint becsuse it was darn good before I primed it so there shouldn't be much as far as flaws!
