Brief Description: Work Right Wheel Pant and Oil Door
Continuing to squeeze in a little time at the end of the night after grandkids go to bed on things.
I worked on the right landing gear wheel fairing. The difference between the heights of the front and back wheel fairing halves were such that it couldn't be taken off the front so I had to build up the back portion of the wheel fairing that I completed in a previous episode of "As the Prop Turns". So tonight I got out the fiberglass file and sandpaper and worked the SuperFil into submission. The wheel pant is now ready for another coat of Smooth Prime and then final priming.
I also worked more on the trim and fit of the oil door. It needs a little more attention.
